Just because things have changed because of Covid, does not mean you can treat paying customers with such rude behavior. So Sarah, if you read this, your staff needs a lesson in customer service. No apology, nothing….I asked her the name of her manager and she said “Sarah”. So she tried the third set and they finally worked. When she came, she demanded to try my cards and of course they did not work. Then she said “well, I don't know what's wrong, I programmed it myself” I asked her to please come figure it out because my 80 yo mother was waiting in the cold. She literally argued with me and wanted to know if the light turned green, which of course it didn't therefore that was the reason I was calling her. When I got to the lobby, it was totally empty and she said, “oh I was just bringing you the keys.” So I brought the new set of keys to the room and they did not work. So, I went myself to get another set of keys.

The first time, I called her and she stated it would be awhile for her to come bring us another because she had a lobby full of people. However, the front desk attendant, Shannon, was extremely rude and acted as though we were a huge inconvenience when our room key failed to work. In actuality, the room was nice enough and clean. He apologized, but…?! On another note, the breakfast was fabulous. I told the gentleman at breakfast, who had fixed the sink, that the tub also had an issue. We showered the next morning, the tub wasn't draining. We stopped the drain and put a towel in the sink for the night. I asked for drain-o to see if that would help and they gave me a bottle of spray cleaner. I went to the lobby and the 3 young people working may not have understood the issue.

Called the front desk and someone came within the hour and ‘fixed it.' We went out for dinner and when we came back, the sink now drained but the stench increased. I also heard in the lobby that they were sold out. I had booked through the BW app and the room was non-refundable. Unfortunately, the smell in the room was so off putting. I was treated nicely when I checked in and even given water a bottle of water.

The property itself had a lovely park-like feel, like it may have been a retreat center at one point.
